I recommend Infected Mushroom.

Any metalhead would love them because they used to be a metal band, but they branch out and became one of the top electronic artist of today. Pretty amazing live

Infected Mushroom is awesome. Definitely a lot of metal influences in them. Check out their album "I'm the Supervisor"

Seen them live a couple times too. Great shit.

Agreed. IM is one of my favorite electronic (?) acts. Often they are categorized as psychedelic / trance as with a lot of the Israeli trance acts (e.g. Yahel) but their more recent stuff has been much more guitar-driven and metal-ish. I kind of lost track of them after Vicious Delicious... thanks for the reminder to check them out again (Legend of the Black Shawarma is their most recent, which I haven't heard, though it's a couple of years old. They also have a somewhat 'unique' interpretation of English in their song titles and lyrics.)

I didn't care for Black Schwarma at all. It seems they've jumped the shark a bit. Vicious Delicious has some good tracks (title track is siiiiiick).

Supervisor, Classical Mushroom and Converting Vegetarians are all great though. Great group.

Good concert but it wasn't too heavy. I think Mikael is changing to another kind of music, I hope not. Well, the new album is totally different.

No more Mr. nice guy.

He's said that there will be no more death metal growls and much less metal in general.

Fuck! Somebody said at the concert: He's getting old. Yeah, they played mostly soft songs. Well....

I can't say I'm big on the new album... I don't hate it, but I haven't found myself wanting to go back and listen to it. Whereas I go back and listen to Blackwater Park somewhat regularly even 10 years later.

I guess every band's prime has to end. Gotta, say metal seems pretty dead these days.
