Opinion of Rob Judge and their 4eg?
Hello. A friend of mine asked if I wanted to borrow his book "4 elements of game" by rob judge and zack bauer.

Is this book good for learning PU and for you who have met rob and zack, do they live up to the "hype" - are they good in field so u can read the book with confidence?

The book is excellent. Along with Models the only thing I would recommend right now. I never met the guys but Mark seems very impressed with their in-field abilities. The word of mouth on them in NYC is very good.

Mark and Rob are friends and I think their approaches to meeting and dating women are pretty similar.

I've met Rob a couple of times (at lair talks). His 'game style' (high energy, direct) as he describes it appears pretty congruent with his personality. However, I have not seen him actually in field.

In any case, 4EG is worth a read. (As long as you put what you learn into practice.)

Rob's game seem pretty damn similiar to Tim of RSD. Rumor has it that he was heavily active in rsd forum before he branch out on his own.

Despite i despise rsd cult like personality, I cant help but think rob takes the best part out of rsd(high energy direct), ditch the shitty part(mostly tyler's bullshit) and form his own company. I'll give the 4E another read but my first time glancing it, it doesnt seem to have that much unique materials.

Thoughts?

First saw them on pickuptube, they are pretty good. It's rare that a coach has an open-to-close SNL all on video and there's one with Rob up there. I like the book too, but I like Rob's blog posts a little better.

@ Brian

What I'd say is that their book reflects much better social calibration than the advice given either by structured game guys or RSD. For instance, when you get down to actual tactics, tim advocates shit like yelling woo and spinning in front of girls. That shit is weird. Maybe it doesn't seem lame when he does it, but it does when most people do. Whereas I'd say 4EG gives similar general advice but with a social intelligence filter. Now, those of us who have been reading pick up material have done that on our own, watching or reading products and thinking "thats cool, that's awkward, thats weird, thats cool." It's nice to read a book where it is almost like "ok, I could see somebody doing that and it looking normal"
