So last night I went out with a bunch of guys from a lair. I barely do that anymore, because it always turns out to be a shitty experience. Anyways I get to the group, they are on the patio. I introduce myself too all of them and one of them turns out to be a coach. He doesn't even give me his real name, he just uses his alias. Just wanted to share some of the things he did and advice he gave:

-The first thing he said to me was that he didn't really come out to do cold approaches, he's already juggling too many girls. He just came here to support us
-He starts giving a shpeel on what confidence is and how their company is so much better than all the companies. Just a bunch of mental masturbation, I wasn't even paying attention.
-He then gives advice on how to properly hug a girl. This goes on for 10 minutes.
-He opens a group of girls right beside us, which lasts maybe 1 or 2 minutes. He borrows a light from them and chats them a bit.
-He reopens the group with some guy a few minutes later on after there is an additional girl there, and completely bombs. Told us they were really cold. (It happens, no big deal)
-He starts telling us his top secret kiss routine. When he said that its top secret and he's never shared it before I knew it was going to be a stupid. It was a five minute evolutionary explanation on how birds feed their babies, and how humans used to feed their babies. I nearly fell asleep.
-Then we go inside the club, right away I do an approach to get away from them. I stay in the group for a while and end up getting both of the girl's their numbers.
-A bit later I see him go to talk to a group of 3 girls, take their picture and leave.
-He then gives me advice that if girls are trying to get off the stage give them a hand (lol)
-After me and this guy I know leave the club we find them at a bar and now the group has like 12-15 pooahs drinking beer
-I just leave and go home

I can't believe some guys actually pay him. One of the guys was so fascinated by him he was telling how much he wanted to do a set there.
Anyways, I'm not going to give his name out here. He is part of a company almost nobody ever heard of and this will just give him unnecessary exposure.

A super-confident alpha-male who opens an HB 9, gets a kiss-close after 5 minutes and leaves the club with her after one hour?

Or somebody who directly grabs an HB 9's hand, leads her to the bathroom, and fucks her there?

Tell me what you expected of this guy.

I loved the evolutionary line. That is so classic. Hah!

I'd expect him to get a couple of solid numbers and maybe even a SNL. Oh and not give obviously stupid advice.

Or expect him to be a cool, interesting person...

I always tell guys that if a coach doesn't seem like a cool person to you, then there's no way he seems like a cool person to a girl he approaches. When you meet him, within a minute you should be like, "Wow, this is a guy I'd hang out with..." If you're not saying that, then few girls are probably saying it either.

A couple years ago there was an explosion of shitty local coaches like this. Luckily I think the local markets are finally getting saturated. That and the fact that the whole lair scene is kind of dying off, I don't think we'll have to deal with many more guys like this.

But yeah, it's stupefying how bad some of the advice coming out of these guys' mouths are.

The problem is the guy hypes himself as a pua guru coach so when he's out with guys in the lair no matter what, if he wants business he's gotta either make excuses for not gaming or run game and have everyone evaluate him even when they aren't paying him. Pua coach Guru is a bad identity to have.

Honestly National Global Guru's aren't much better in this regard. Many times guys pay a big company like Love Systems, RSD, ABC of Attraction just to watch a guy show him how to approach for $2,000 plus. You can get some kid local guy to show you how to approach for a few beers same value in the end. I've taken several National company bootcamps trust me LOL!!!

Maybe its good you got out of the infield bootcamp biz Mark!

I remember DJ Fuji and Speer gave lair speeches where I live and it ended at around 11 PM. They wanted like $400 for infield that night. I felt bad for anyone that took that offer. 12 midnight by the time u get to the club and the clubs close at 2 AM.

It's a god awful identity to have. It ate me up and I'm glad I got out of it.

These days I only take on a handful of clients each year. But the ones I do, it's usually a longer-term and more personal thing, and it consists more of removing all of the garbage and limiting beliefs from their head. I've found there's little that most guys need to "learn" about this stuff. It's more about clearing out everything that's keeping them inhibited and stifled.

Cool, I guess thats why you don't go around and do convention talks and marketing pitches?? People who like ur stuff come to you cause they want ur advice without you convincing them!

Makes for better client relationships without smoke up ass promises.
