Nope, girls can be shallow and horny just like everyone else. But seriously, you just met the girl. Why should she owe you any loyalty or fidelity? I pretended to understand, but I sat thinking about it well after my response on the forum. I'd be lying to say my feelings weren't a bit hurt by the circumstances. I liked this girl, I did. I'd also be lying to say I'd do the same thing as the girl in that situation. I couldn't dream of making a connection with a girl, even if it was phony to her ( it wasn't to me) then the same night hooking up with her friend out of all people, in the exact same house she was staying the night. You're right, she didn't owe me loyalty, or sex for that matter. But, I could never do something so callous to a woman. And you being a lovely English woman, I'm sure you wouldn't stoop that low either.

Also, right on FirstAid creating the phrase " evil dirty whore slut". Just one of those words would suffice as a description of the girl. However all four words together is just brilliance. Yes, we have a word for girls of questionable ethics and morals, "evil". Girls with less than stellar hygiene, "dirty". Girls of rather tasteless promiscuity, "whore" and "slut". But now, finally a glorious phrase to describe the women of the world (and in some cases men, for instance Mark Manson) who can only be categorized as the "evil dirty whore sluts".

@ Brian: I'm going to have to pass on this specific girl despite what you and the wise Tolle say about my ego. But, I will take this as a learning experience in the future to "keep the girl within ear shot" of me from now on. I may even carry a yard stick around with me just to make sure I don't tread too far from the ladies. Yeah I wasn't calling her an evil dirty whore slut. Like shadow said, she was horny, she fucked. It's possible she didn't feel the same connection that you did. It's possible that she was only looking for something casual. It's possible your friend was just too damn sexy. It could be any of those reasons, or none of them.

And of course you are correct on all 3 counts - I am a lovely english woman, but I've still been in similar situations. I was making out with a friend of a friend on a night out and got distracted by a guy I liked better on my way to the bathroom. Hell, I first kissed the guy I then went out with for 2 years while on a pseudo-date with his housemate( as in, he had invited just me and was quite clearly into me).

I think maybe its just a social norms disconnect? Among me and the people I associate with, people tend to assume they are free agents until you have a conversation where you both say otherwise.

That said, I probably wouldn't have had sex with someone in the same house. That is kindof rude.
