This is just wrong. The actual fat in your adipocytes is most likely the fat you ate.

You can get fat (from eating more than you burn) from carbs as well as from fats. Cutting out one macronutrient just makes it easier to not overeat though.
The extremes do tend to be always wrong. Wink

Whilst bulking? And having problems to stomach all that food? WHY?

Probably ends up being more like 45% Carb, 35% Protein, 20% fat.

But yeah, I definitely get more than 300 grams a day.

(Keep in mind, I weigh 205 lbs.)

Amazing. I couldn't even fathom to stomach that much food and still enjoy it. Are you eating prepackaged ham or do you buy it directly from the deli? The sodium content can be such a bother when it comes to the prepackaged ham, even with 6-8 liters of water.

Do you feel like you've gained a lot of muscle from this bulk? You should track your progress with pictures if you do not already. It helped me greatly.

I get it from the deli (actually need to go get more today). And no, I'm not enjoying eating this much, lol. Some days it's not so bad. Other days I fucking hate it.

Don't have pictures. But yes, lots of muscle. My BF% has barely gone up and as I said, all my lifts have all gone up quite a bit.

You'd be better off when you stop the protein insanity. There is no point to go above 1.5 g/lbs whilst bulking if you dont enjoy it. Keep in mind the 1600 kcal from 400 g of protein will be "worth" only about 1200 kcal in total (higher thermic effect as it get's inefficiently metabolized).

You also might want to look at your weight to strength gain ratios.
They are a good indicators of how much of your weight gain will be muscle tissue.

For intermediate lifters (http://www.exrx.net/Testing/WeightLiftin...dards.htm) the ratios below are good guidelines (vary a bit depending on biomechanics):

Bench Press and Weighted Chins - 1:3
Squat - 1:4
Deadlift - 1:5

Martin Berkhan uses those too with his clients.

Males often look very much the same in the bodyfat range of 12 to 20 %. So they often go overboard when bulking and underestimate the fat gained.
Just a warning.

But of course progress is always way better than spinning you wheels. Everything doesn't have to be "perfect". Wink

I found an experimental IF calculator if any of you fellas are interested on getting started, after which you could listen to your body and whatnot:

And Martin Berkhan just put a Leangains Facebook Page where people are posting all these awesome recipes:
