Improv Class?
Is it worth going to a few of these? I joined a group on meetup, mostly to do a social activity that will help me meet girls, but after looking through the members I don't see much potential. I'm only 23, and most of the people there seem to be in their 30s and 40s.

I was just wondering if anyone took an improv class and if it has actually helped their game.

Thanks.

RE: Improv Class?
If you're in a city like Chicago, NYC, or LA, improv classes are full of people in their 20s. Maybe you're just in the wrong city.

He lives in Toronto. I'm surprised at the demographic represented.

RE: Improv Class?
Don't go through meet up, pick the improv class run by the improv company that's popular with people in your demographic (maybe something near the U of T Campus). For instance, in NY, the UCB theater is right near NYU, so tons of nyu students take improv classes there.

edit: just remembered 2nd city has a branch in toronto, they are fantastic. probably a lot of aspiring comedians in the classes (tons of snl people come out of 2nd city)
