Didn't know Deangelo did shit like that. I know both Mehow and PUA Training were really notorious for it though -- hidden subscriptions, not able to cancel, not given refunds, etc.

Oh yeah, PUA training was a real fucker - since they offer a "free" dvd set, you only pay for shipping, and then they bill you an exhorbitant amount of money every month. It is odd that their US operations seem really above-board - Adam lyons products are cheap, bootcamps get good reviews, etc, but their UK side is mega shady.

Didn't know about Mehow. I do think it's funny that Mehow and VA have 10 grand programs to become a pua instructor.

Back in the day, when Mehow was running his $10k "become a coach" program, it was a 12-month thing and very involved. I remember word on the street was that like 80% of the guys in it were getting no where and still sucked and either dropped out or demanded their money back and it became a giant fiasco that killed his cash-flow. Might even be the reason why he went under for a while.

Well he's apparently offering it again. I hadn't realized the company went under for a while.

I don't know what happened to him, but after Fuji jumped ship in '09 he basically fell off the map for a year and a half. He's trying to make a comeback now because he got an episode on MTV: True Life and I guess he thinks that's going to reboot his business. Which I doubt. Honestly, I wish he'd just go away.

It seems like the best thing he had going was that fuji got good reviews as an instructor. Mehow has some of the dumbest stuff i have seen out there - his routines are just painfully cornball.

Mehow sounds like a flaming homosexual robot. Not that there's anything wrong with that.

Saw part of this. Hilarious on so many levels.

1) you cant tell a 40 year old woman that you want to be spanked. That's not a turn on for middle aged women.

2) GG keeps talking about not compromising her morals by sleeping with her sugar daddy - however letting him think she's going to sleep with him and then not, totally ethical.

edit:

woah - mehow's girl is like some old stripper! he appeared on camera with her?

Yeah, that's Mel. They're not together. Supposedly they used to date, but I'm not sure if I believe it. She's old, fake and cranky.

Fuji was by far the best thing that business had going. He's an excellent coach and a good salesman. I'm surprised he didn't jump ship much earlier (and I actually encouraged him to back in '09).

Anyway... this is getting all PUA gossipy, which I hate.
