I am starting to take a different tack on phone numbers - burn them to the ground. I think I took it too easy with them in the past. I would get a phone number, text her 3-4 times and never do it again if she doesn't respond. Totally silly. Here is my new phone follow-up:

1) Call her...... thrice in a row if she doesn't pick-up.
2) Shoot her a text after third attempt about plans to meetup.
3) Repeat after a few days. I will start making a place in my daily schedule to make calls to girls.
4) Deal with the awkwardness of 3 calls. Some of them are likely going to be pissed at this strong-arming tactic. But as long as they pick the phone up, I feel like I can defuse the situation. The alternative is that they would have never responded anyway.

What do you guys think? Of course, having a great interaction is definitely important. I'm definitely working on that. Feel like I've gotten much better though the results are still not there yet.

I dunno. I'll try 2-3 times and if she doesn't reply I just don't give a shit anymore - there are plenty of girls out there who I don't need to strong arm into going out with me.

I don't disagree with you and infact made a similar comment on a different post. But while you are getting good, I think it is important to still be getting laid. If that requires a few additional calls on your part, how does it matter?

I am saying - make 3 consecutive calls within seconds of each other, after it goes to voicemail. The girls that don't intend on meeting up aren't going to pick up anyway. The others, I am just polarizing with persistence.

absolutely not. That's a terrible idea. Any sane girl who sees 3 missed calls in rapid succession will move on. Do not do this, under any circumstances, you will burn good numbers. No, just no, never do this. You will freak girls out. This will burn every fucking number.

LOL. That was some strong shit. I am only planning on doing this for the so-called "dead" numbers. I have a bunch of old numbers in my phone, numbers that were unresponsive right from the start. Once I establish that a number is unresponsive, I was planning on doing this.

Look, I'd get pissed off at my own mother if she called me three times in a row, much less some random person I barely remember. This is a horrible idea.

Use that time to go out and approach new girls. Flakes are prevented BEFORE you get their number, not after.

I'm all for persistence, but calling three times in a row with seconds in between has "stalker" and "creep" written all over it.

I'm just not sure what this would accomplish - if they're already unresponsive, being annoying/borderline stalkerish wont make them more responsive.
