So I've been into a wide variety of music for a long time, and I'd say it's my greatest passion. But I've always come from the spectator side, and I'm tired of being limited to that. I really want to join in the creative side.

When I tried learning instruments in the past I've never been that successful and usually been too impatient. However, I'm a little more mature now, and I'm thinking something like DJing might suit myself in expressing my eclectic tastes.

Does anyone here have much experience with that? How did you get started in it? How would you suggest I do it? Did you have any other musical talents/training when you got into it?

I'm currently learning ableton live and the keyboard. I think this is a good start. Give it a try
