I worked with a girl today who had never dated a guy that she did not meet through her social circle in some way, and who never had sex until months after knowing a guy. And this was a girl who goes out and drinks alcohol regularly. She's 24.

Me and another guy asked her many questions, like how she would react if an attractive, cool guy approached her in a club. Wouldn't she be attracted? Wouldn't she be open to more with him? She said that when she's out, she's out with her friends. She doesn't do anything with random guys, because, she said, "how can you possibly know what kind of man he is, just by his appearance?". Even if she's attracted to a guy, she generally behaves uninterested or even rude when he tries to pick her up.

She also only ever had sex while being in a serious relationship. She felt like when she had sex she "gave" something. She gives her body to a man, and this is a very intimate thing, and if there's no love behind it then it's a very empty, bad thing in her eyes.

Her parents were very strict when they raised her (wasn't even allowed to watch MTV until she was like 14), and she still has a good relationship with them now, and she was religious (but not very strongly so I think).

I thought this was enlightening, because it further taught me that every girl is different. She did emphasize several times that she does enjoy sex and that she does have a desire for sex. But that her "principles" are stronger than any desire she may have. So if you happened to approach this girl in a club (and she does go out to clubs), then she would reject you pretty harshly almost certainly. And this would say nothing at all about your game or attractiveness.
