LOL, sorry... I'm just a little bitter. This thread is really making me want to get back to NYC.

Union Square, East Village, and NYU are usually day game goldmines. Lower Manhattan is probably the best daygame area I've seen in the world. You could knock out 50 approaches (hot girls too) in an afternoon if you wanted.

Also Soho, great for day game, in the same general area. Bryant park if you work near there is great during the warm months, or Battery Park during the summer. Any art museum is great. (funny story, my friend was there with a date and saw neil strauss on a date, reciting something clearly very scripted about a particular painting).

Wow... I really don't know if I would have been able to resist the urge to follow him around for an hour or two.

I've been in NYC for the last few days, and in that time I've been to pretty much all the above places. All of them are great, but one that hasn't been mentioned is, in my opinion, the best in all of NYC. Madison Park. I spent 2 hours there last friday and saw at least 2-3 models and 1 girl who I can't stop thinking about since I chickened out of approaching her. But yeah, I would say from Broome st up to Times Square there's the greatest concentration of hot women I've ever seen, and this includes Austin's East 6th Street on a Friday night...

Anyway, head out to Madison Park later this afternoon and there's a pretty good chance you'll see me there

Edit: Actually I went back and it turns out what I thought was Madison Park was Union Square. My brain mixed the two up. Both are great though. So great...

@ Mark - yeah, my friend had a really hard time keeping a straight face and explaining to the girl he was with why he was staring at some short bald dude in loud clothing.

@ Eros - great point, Madison Square is great as well. Oh, and speaking of models, there's apparently a modeling agency with offices in the Grace Building, which is across the street from Bryant Park (which is also where fashion week is held).

Yea parks are pretty good, what's a good opener for a park though? "Hey how about those trees" ?

Also, have heard DJ Fuji say essentially never eject from a set, how do you do that in the park without it being really weird?

Go direct.

Incidentally, the key to going direct outdoors in NYC is looking well put together. Go try some approaches, you might find that the issue of ejecting or not doesn't come up. It's pretty obvious in the daytime when you are done.

Just moved to the East Village about a month ago. My block literally is crowded on most weekdays/weeknights so I barely have to go anywhere to see a ton of cute girls. And it makes dates 10x easier since there's more bars here than anywhere else

Walked a bit through Madison sq. park, definitely lots of opportunities, but had too much approach anxiety for the group of 4 girls, or the girl reading a book on a park bench. Definitely a good spot though.
