After working hard on some lifestyle stuff, and also learning some game, it sometimes seems like I'm still at the same place: still getting a lot of close-but-no-cigar with women.

But then I realize: I'm getting close-but-no-cigar with women who wouldn't even give me the time of day before. Before, I was getting close-but-no-cigar with normal women. Now, the last close-but-no-cigar was with a woman with model looks who turned out to be dating an olympic swimmer.

It seems my standards have increased as fast as my skills, but obviously I'm making progress after all.

Just thought I'd put that out there in case anyone else is in a similar boat.
