Detachment
How do you detach yourself about the outcome with a girl that you like a lot, that you are very interested in her? It is easy to be detached about the outcome when you don't like the girl a lot but when you like her it is really hard.

Maybe realizing that you do not love someone but you rather WISH to posses this person. Love is mutual and actually happens in the real world. I might be oversimplyfying, but it all comes down to giving and feeling loved. Love has nothing to do with the risk to lose someone.

Having options

Just do what you always do even if you care about the outcome, since its the best way anyway
