These movies give all the wrong ideas too, such as
-women need to be drunk to be seduced
-women don't enjoy sex
-women are shallow
-women are only attracted to jerks/assholes
-courtship is an elaborate song and dance routine

What's frightening is that I believed all this! These movies were hilarious to me then...but now, they're a sad pathetic portrayal of men.

I don't like throwing around terms like alpha or beta; but what these movies are is the glorification of all things beta.

Mediocrity. Fantasy. Pornography. Involuntary celibacy.

Sexuality and sex and dating is portrayed so badly in many comedy shows. A lot of sitcoms suck in this way. I used to like Scrubs, but dear GOD, the women in that show just hate sex, except for the crazy dominant women. edit: And JD is the most feminine man in the existence of everything.

I also noticed recently that in popular comedy shows, whenever the average or above average looking nice guy compliments a hot woman, all too often the woman will roll her eyes and turn away. Or even worse, she will do something like throw her drink in the guy's face. This is just not how women respond to respectful compliments. Many men buy into this though. If you look at SimplePickup's videos on Youtube (they are freaking awesome, http://www.youtube.com/user/SimplePickup ), you'll have guys in the comment section saying: "OMG, if I said these things I would get slapped in the face!" Nope, you wouldn't.

Yeah. The problem with comedies is that horrible rejections and blow outs tend to be hilarious. So comedy shows/movies ham them up and make them really awful. It can be confusing if you're inexperienced. I seriously thought stuff like would actually happen that when I started. I had HORRIBLE approach anxiety when I began. And I thought I was going to be getting yelled at by women left and right for simply saying "Who lies more, men or women?"

The exact opposite is true... In fact, I've probably gone direct on at least 1000 women at this point, and I don't know if I've ever had a less-than-neutral reaction, ever.

Don't forget hollywood guys are "professional storyteller", and nobody would benefits from telling you the truth (or their movies won't be "entertaining" nor marketable at all). The fact is they simply reflect what modern society is in their script pages. Guys who tends to become like girls, and girls acting like men.
