Hey everyone,

This is my first post here. I am graduating in about a month or so and will have to start looking for a job. I have a degree in Economics and Finance, and have applied to a few places with not much luck.

My marks are pretty good, and I do have some experience, but most of it isn't related to my field of study.

Does anyone have any experience for job hunting through cold calling? I've heard that just sending out resumes electronically is not very efficient, due to the large volume of the applications.

Doesn't your school have like an employment services type thing, career counseling sort of deal? My school does, look into that dude.

Network, network, network!!! I don't know anything about cold calling, but most people get their jobs by knowing somebody. Best of luck, I've been there before.

Also, know your ideal job and have that in your head. And maybe if you can't get that, get an internship related to your ideal job/company as a stepping stone.

Oh that's very good news you will become graduate. What about campus selection, does any company arrived at your campus for job interview. Well as soon as I found any vacancy I'll reply you, because I am also searching for job. All the best for your future.
