Therapy and Counseling
This is not really a question. More just a nod to Therapy and Counseling for improving your life. One of the best things I ever did was 5 sessions of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with a Psychologist. One of the best things I continue to do is see a Counselor once a month (it used to be more frequent) who really helps to keep me balanced and put things in perspective.

I was really lucky to find an awesome Counselor who I really value. The psychologist not so much, it just so happens that I totally jived with the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy he was teaching me and kinda ran with it on my own...

If you have some problems in your life, anxiety, depression, social, etc. then I strongly recommend that you seek out a professional. It doesn't make you crazy, it just makes you normal. Taking that step to reach out for and accept the help of another human being can completely transform your life.

Anyone else out there can vouch for the efficacy of a good Therapist/Counselor? Anyone want to share an experience?

Yes sir,

It definately helps a lot. I feel like we as people tend to assume a lot of negative thinking without really looking at the evidence. CBT helps you deal with those black and white thinking patterns that can be so destructive.

Therapy's one of the best things I ever did and I recommend it to coaching clients quite often. It's important to find a good therapist who you get with though.

RE: Therapy and Counseling
I am considering therapy as I find myself in crazy mindsets sometimes.

I don't know where to start. What are some things I should look for in finding a good therapist?
