Fashion advice thread
So, I'm not a fashion expert or anything, but these are some basic tips I'd give to people. Please correct me or add your own advice

- Don't peacock

- Make sure everything fits. Like, a Tshirt sleeve should fit around your biceps, not hang loosely around your elbow.

- Wearing some accessoires can look good, but too many is worse than none. (Personally, I always wear a necklace and on some occasions a leather wristband)

- Formal beats casual, but most of the time you'll be overdressed in a suit, so mix with casual elements: dress shoes, (black) jeans, (untucked) button down shirt with 2 upper buttons unbuttoned (with rolled up sleeves)...

- Dress like a gentleman, not like you're from the ghetto.

- If you have a light skin light colors will look better on you.

I'm sure there are many more fashion guides out there, and much depends on your age and culture. Pay attention to what other people are wearing and how it looks on them.

Dressing well can be learnt, and with time and effort you can develop a sense of fashion and your own style.

I don't know much about fashion at all. I generally wear sneakers (that I've actually been complimented on a few times by girls), darkblue jeans and like a V-neck T-shirt. I've never owned dress shoes, and I never wear black jeans. I also almost never wear button down shirts. Do you guys think I can look better by trying these things, or is it just different but not necessarily better?

I"ve been wanting to buy a nice button down shirt for night game btw. If you can post pics or give me some brands to check out that would be awesome.

edit: I'm a white, blond, 6'4" guy. In pretty good shape, not fat, fairly broad shoulders.

Disagree completely. I think dark colors look way better.

Ah. I actually had a Brad P. bootcamp by the man himself. Smile He dressed me in skinny jeans and a button down shirt. He thought I could go for normal (i.e. not rocker or any other stereotype), but just better dressed than average. Brad P's opinion is that tall skinny guys are more attractive in skinny jeans.
