"Hit or miss" is an saying for "some of it is very good, some of it is very bad." Basically it means he liked parts of the book and disliked others.

I would say that a big abstract part of this game for me was actually courting rejection. Get used to it then get good.
Most guys have it back to front. Learning tons of techniques to avoid rejection instead of learning how to cope with their own issues on rejection.

If I could start again I would spend no time learning anything and go out with a basic approach tactic and see if I get rejected. Write all the internal BS that the process coughs up in to a journal (still the best no-BS product out there) and then work from that.

Its not fun finding shame but you probably have it in spades if your a newb and you arent approaching. You cant get round it.

I might be a newbie but I can say from experience that this is true.

My first sticking point was getting over that shame of verbalising my desires. Not necessarily just sexual but the whole spectrum of wants. If you get through that a lot of interesting things happen in your life because its allows you to express what you want in other areas of your life.

The truth (or a helpful frame of mind) is that people want to hear about the things you want without shame attached especially girls when you want them.
