RE: Work out thread
One thing I haven't seen mentioned yet: it's true that strength training can improve your posture, but it can also mess your posture up! You'll see many guys that work out all the time with very bad posture, because they train their chest muscles a disproportionate percenage of the time. As a result, those chest muscles are relatively strong compared to the other muscles, and they pull the shoulders forward and inward.

I do not know the names of the muscles that you have to train to prevent this. But Mark Rippetoe recommends doing Military Press and Bench Press every other time. Only doing Bench will result in problems. I'd also train your back muscles and do stuff like pull ups, but maybe a more knowledgeable person than I can give even better advice on this.

I actually do some stretching exercises for improving body language (including the way you walk, move your shoulders etc.) I highly recommend this guy http://www.robbrindedblog.com/

A lot of guys dont train their legs too...
To avoid overtraining certain muscels do full body exercises ( Squat, Bench, Military press etc)
And use a professional program like Starting Strenght

As for better posture i heard good things about the alexander technique ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alexander_technique)
didnt try it thou

It can be useful, but most people are served better learning proper technique in compound barbell lifts & do corrective/prehab/mobility work.
Kettlebell lifts are more complicated than people think too Wink Lots of people do them wrong IME.
Better than all that jogging though.
