1 - Getting Things Done (GTD) by Dave Allen. Why: This book got me more promotions at work than anything else I have read (and Ive read lots of self help, career, personal organisation books). Its a system I still follow since I started to use it 4 years ago. Cant recommend this enough. It will put your in the top 1% of productivity which, if your like me, means you can slack off and take smoke breaks more often. ;-)

Just ordered this one! Thanks for the recommendation.

I already own the book. Sadly I lacked the Discipline to apply the system longer than 1 month
I'll try to give it a Re-Run though Smile

Is that book similar to "Mastery" by G. Leonard?

I didn't read that book.
But judging from a quick research I think the Mastery book is more about emotional Self-Improvement while Getting things Done is pretty much technical Help to improve your Self/Time Management, mostly focused on your current Job/school.

GTD just helps you keeping track of things you have to do, breaking those things down in small Steps further helping you to get your head off things and focus on the task at hand.

1 - "I can't accept not trying" from Michael Jordan : don't be misleaded from the title, it's not an autobiography. This book is short and covers in a few words the fundamentals of his philosophy. It motivates me a lot, and the experience is described in a very simple and powerful way which covers more things than just basket-ball. I'm reading it every 2 months and it's always a good thing to keep you motivated.

2 - Roman Tales - Alberto Moravia : probably the best writer you can find when it comes to man/woman fiction. Set in Italy, it's a collection of short stories which narrate pretty much how an "average" guy live, gets deceived by women, or find the love of his life. Recommended if you enjoy reading.

3 - Passion Trap - Dean C Delis : THE book on relationship. Many of my friends told me it was a life-changing attitude you got from reading it (after break-ups or hook-ups). Covers the relationship above the psy/analytics bullshit coming from women magazine. Very methodical, but also practical. You should give it a try. Smile

MJ is so fucking inspirational. Just listening to him for five minutes makes you want to get up and accomplish something. My favorite athlete of all time.
