What do you want out of this forum?
This is initially a question for Mark, but I'm interested in what everybody has to say.

I was pretty excited when I read Mark added a forum. I haven't been part of an online community in a long time besides a career related forum I browse and pick-up-artist-forum.com which I found about two years ago. However, the latter forum is difficult to read because to me it's just the same stuff, different day, rather than real discussions about ideas, concepts, and "deeper" stuff than do XYZ...which are the things I love about the Practical Pickup blog because it's not just pick up marketing BS but includes analysis based on psychology, legit research studies, experience, etc. Plus, there is no real "community" from what I saw because of the sheer size. I just lurk and read posts I find interesting or review some of the stickied threads on occasion.

So Mark, having read your latest post about a lot of posts being repetitive questions seeking quick fixes or questions already answered in previous blog posts and his programs and was curious to what you would like to see with this forum. I look forward to talking with everyone on here!

This is a really good question. I'm not completely sure.

I think right now we're getting a barrage of repetitive, basic questions because 1) this is the first time I've made myself so publicly available and 2) everyone's first inclination to post is usually their current sticking point or issue.

I'd like to see this forum evolve into some high level discussion not just of pick up and getting girls, but male sexuality and self improvement in general -- keeping with the focus on practical and applicable advice that goes with the brand.

I think right now the board is where it should be: growing and people getting acquainted by sharing their most basic issues and concerns. It'll be interesting to see where things go as it matures and develops.

I'm posting about AA and stuff here because there's a big difference between reading about something AA related, or having a man that you respect tell you directly what to do. Your advice can, at least for me, be a powerful motivator. Also, because the forum is interactive you can spot sticking points that we may not be aware of.

If there is going to be interesting discussion about male sexuality and self-improvement in general, I'll definitely be sticking around.

I think for me the biggest thing is motivation - seeing other guys' progress which reminds you that it is possible to get amazing results if you are dedicated enough and keeps you from quitting like the most of the guys.

Second is that you can get advice on some specific situation since you can't learn everything from a book, and it's easy to misinterpret things.
