Suggestions for this site - cobrastyle - 04-08-2011 11:33 PM
Hey guys, hey Mark,
I want to open a thread where people can write down recommendations for this forum and practicalpickup.com
Mine:
1. More Subforums (Sex, Field- and Layreports, ...)
2. In the new layout on the frontpage there is now only one list with "Best of PP" articles. I liked it better before, when there were more articles sorted in different categories.

Yeah, not sure how I feel about the new layout in general. May be changing everything back this weekend.

The two Lists next to each other on the right side look a bit cheap
you should maybe put them below each other
Also I don´t think anybody really cares for "recent comments" and "recent forum posts" ....

Mark, are you aware that your website is absolutely unreadable on phones? My phone at least. It would be great if you can have a phone friendly version of the website!
Edit: I agree about letting the site grow first. If you add a ton of subforums now it will just create a whole bunch of empty forums.

Yeah, no subforums for now. Maybe in the future.
Going to change site design back tomorrow probably and then re-think things.

I liked the old design of the main site better. The layout was more clear with those articles sorted by category in the left and right columns. Now, it's kind of unbalanced to the left.
And one little thing, the site of the forum doesn't have an icon. It's a verry little thing but weakens the impression.
And I agree with Lycan. Maybe you should consider putting "Most popular threads" instead of "Most recent ones".

Not so good idea in my opinion, especially when the forum grows big.
