I think a lot of people who are anti weed are blowin smoke out of their ass (no pun intended). There's a time and a place for it. Just like you wouldn't show up for sunday dinner with your family wasted, smoking weed may not be the best choice when your picking up girls if your finding that it hinders your results. I wouldn't listen to people on here who say it does more harm than good, you just need to cut down and be selective about when you smoke it.
I've done my fair share of smoking over the past several years. It really has not affected me socially when talking or picking up women. I guess it really does depend on the person and how they choose to use it.
I can tell you one thing for sure and that is when your high your much calmer and way slower in reacting to situations (aka like Mark said your calibration is messed up for sure). I never really smoke when I go out in public. It's almost like a relaxing, chilling at home, after the bar thing. Kind of like how some guys enjoy smoking a nice fine cigar to calm down or even smoking a hookah.
I've found sex is much more enjoyable when your high and in some cases when I've had too much alcohol to drink and I'm with a girl, smoking will actually counter the whisky dick.
All and all I recently just quit smoking about a month ago and one thing is for sure I'm 20x more active. Not as groggy in the mornings and feel way better. I do miss the feeling and I absolutley love being high but enough is enough. I've been out of college for almost 2 years and it's time to grow up. Weed was great for picking up women in college.
The women I want to be with and have long term relationship with don't smoke weed regularly. It can be fun once and a while but Mark you are 100% right when you say "It does more harm then good" ... not to mention drug tests for jobs.
Here's my thoughts on weed:
-Harmful for your cold approaches. Have i ever cold approach while stone? Yes, and i was fucking weird.
-Very useful to get chicks who a ravers or druggie to come hangout with you, get stone and fucks you..if you're into that type of girls.
-Useful to hangouts with your buddies at a house party and just kick it.
-Did I say useless for cold approach? In fact, it's completely garbage and should be avoided. I'm going to say something thati's going to offend most people here. I think the government should NOT legalize weed. The biggest thing that helps you become successful in ANYTHING in life, including girls, finances, passion, career, bodybuilding etc requires MOTIVATION. Can a stoner become succcessful? Sure, but he's probably already super motivated to begin with. For the average population, it's a fucking destructive psychological drug.
To me, anything that kills my motivation is the antithesis of being an attractive human being. So yeah, keep this fucking drug illegal!!!!!

But you do raise a good point. And that is demographics trumps all. If you're into girls who like to smoke weed, and hang out at parties or events where people smoke weed, by all means.
I think on cold approaches its where it affects me the most. Never really affects me at parties or social circle game because a lot of peeps in LA smoke.
I think we are always looking for ways to get into a morecomfortable social state and i am just now realizing, after taking some time off, that it was hindering my ability to approach. When you think about approaching,
excuses pop into your head and weed seems to bring out irrational excuses for me... Now that i think about it more, this is why i find it helps me brainstorm, but doesnt help in execution.

So by your logic, we should legalize every single drugs in existence including morphine, opium, heroine etc? Because if we dont legalize those, the cartels, black market etc will come into existence.
The fact of the matters is, the cartel and those drugs lord will always be there to sell new drugs. Hell, if we legal the above mention drugs, i'm sure they'll create drug that can probably do almost instant death to any human but it's so pleasurable and addictive people will still buy it anyway.
Those two things don't correspond. Heroin and opium etc are really dangerous and extremely addictive.
Weed is not that addictive, not harmful to your physical health, and the worst you can say about it is "it makes people lazy." Question the cause and effect though. It's not that sitting on your couch smoking weed all day makes you lazy, it's that lazy people smoke a lot of weed because they don't have shit to do!

All drugs should be legalized, regulated, and taxed. A number of European countries have done this Brian, and not only has drug use gone DOWN in them, but drug-related violence is basically zero. Not to mention they now collect revenue in taxes instead of spending billions on enforcement.
Hmm, I'm giving this some thoughts. In america, technically, if you have a perscription and own a marijuanna license, then you can get it from the pharmacist.
When you say all drug legalize, how is heroine and morphine in europe? Can you buy it without a doctor perscription?
I believe there are plenty of drugs here are illegal to buy without doctor's perscription.
